Yes! Eligible children aged 2 to 17 can access free dental care through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). This includes check-ups, cleans, fillings, and more. Simply bring your child’s Medicare card, and our team will take care of the rest.
For children not covered by CDBS, we offer our New Patient Check-up & Clean for just $149 — because every child deserves a bright, healthy smile.

Our $149 Checkup and Clean Offer for New Children Patients at Newstead Smiles is available exclusively to new patients aged 2–17. Patients eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) can access free dental care for services such as check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and more. Parents must bring their Medicare card to the appointment for CDBS claims to be processed on the same day. For children not eligible for CDBS, the $149 offer applies. This offer is standalone and cannot be combined with other discounts, offers, or promotions.
The $149 Checkup and Clean includes a comprehensive dental examination, professional cleaning, fluoride treatment, X-rays (if needed), intra-oral photos, and after-care advice. This offer does not include additional treatments beyond those listed. Any further treatments required will be discussed, along with associated costs, before scheduling follow-up appointments.
To redeem the $149 offer, parents or guardians must mention it when booking the appointment with our reception team.
We recommend checking with your health fund to determine if this offer is claimable under your policy. Newstead Smiles accepts all major health funds, and coverage may vary depending on the specific plan and provider. Out-of-pocket costs for private health insurance patients will depend on the health fund’s policies.
